I chose your Cobham office on a recommendation, Neil Morgan had sold a house in Freelands Road, Cobham at a difficult time (January 2010), close to the asking price. Boy was it good advice!
My house was a probate sale, my solicitor (Downs - Dorking) initialls required four valuations and Neil was by far and away the most professional, well informed individual, - my parter Susan and I took to him straight away.
We went on the market in March and bu the end of the month we had five offers, it went to sealed bids and we accepted the safest bidder at £650,000!
Without boring you with the details, the chain broke once, almost broke a second time and protracted negotiations with all parties was the order of the day. Living 200 miles away this is when an excellent agent comes to the fore.!
It was entirely due to Curchods (not the other agents involved in the chain) that everything held together and this difficult sale was finally effected on 21st September 2010 at £645,000.
May I say that nothing was too much trouble for your Cobham office, regular progress reports, visits to the house weekly to keep the insurance people happy, meter readings to me solicitor etc. etc. The service was above and beyond the call of duty. Neil (and Patrick) have that magic quality of astute business acumen, attention to detail and humour.!
I am a busy man and seldom (if ever) put pen to paper these days, but feel you should be away of a first class Cobham office.

Without the experience, patience and deal-making skills that you have deployed in selling my mother's house and acquiring no 6 Victoria Place for her, I doubt that this would have had a successful conclusion. Had these transactions not gone through, given my mother's age, she would have ended up not moving at all, which would have been detrimental to both her health and financial position.

I write to express my thanks for the excellent service provided by you and your team to affect the sale of our property. During a period of market uncertainty, it is most refreshing to find a company that is prepared to offer solid, reliable advice and guidance and does not hype the market to its own end. We selected Curchods as our agent because we felt they would handle our sale professionally and efficiently. We were not disappointed. The circumstances of our contract exchange became incredibly fraught and very stressful which was further exacerbated by a rapid completion required by ourselves and purchasers. Nikki was an absolute star tenacious, assertive but always professional with solicitors and fellow estate agents. Supportive, calming and effective when dealing with my husband and myself. In my eyes, Curchods have done much to reverse the stigma estate agents usually suffer from.

Friday 20th September. The last time we write from this address and felt it appropriate that you should be the recipient. You did what you said you would do - you sold our house.
