Location
Glendsale Close sits on the outskirts of central Woking and is within just a short walk of the town centre and its excellent commuter station. As a town, Woking has come a long way in recent years and is now a busy and contemporary centre that has an interesting collection of bars and restaurants as well as a renowned theatre in the Peacocks Shopping centre along with a newly renovated multi screen cinema. At one end of Commercial Way, the newly opened Victoria Square development has brought a huge Marks and Spencer to Woking while the adjacent Hilton Hotel is due to open in due course, complete with a sky bar. The station runs a service into Waterloo that takes about 25 minutes and from here there is also a very efficient coach service to Heathrow Airport. There are great schools in and around Woking along with numerous other leisure facilities and wide open spaces of common land.
