Curchods is a Surrey based Estate Agency, founded in 1938. Our two owners, John Slatter and Andrew Dewar, acquired the business in 1990 and set about building on what was already an enviable reputation for professionalism and customer care.
We provide a high level of service from knowledgeable people. Today, our heritage and knowledge of the local markets in which we deal, combined with the benefits of modern technology, delivers a seamless and thorough property service to our clients.
In 2002, Simon Mortlock joined us as our Sales Director. One of Simon’s key tasks is to help maintain and develop these very high standards of customer care and service. He is passionate about this subject and expects a great deal from our staff, as he knows our customers expect a great deal from us.
Simon is very well known in the industry having spent 34 years as an estate agent working in most of the areas covered by our offices. Simon has lived all of his life in Walton and Weybridge. Residents of Walton on Thames will know him best, as he practiced here for many years. Prior to joining us he had been a regional director with one of the large corporate agents.He was too successful there, so we asked him to join us.
We continue to build our reputation as a leading Surrey Estate Agent every day, through honest transparent dealings with our customers. That is why independent market research consistently tells us that 95% of our buyers and sellers would use us again and recommend us to friends and family.
We have 18 Estate Agency offices, mostly in Surrey, and 120 people providing one of the finest levels of customer care and efficiency to be found anywhere in the UK estate agency business.
Reassuringly, you will see the same faces behind our desks year after year. We lose few staff. Many have been with us well in excess of 10 years, some since 1990. We are exactly what customers need during the process of moving home; advisors, professionals, someone to lean on and in whom they can confide.
This traditional way of working with and supporting our clients, is blended with the use of the latest Internet marketing technology, to ensure we communicate with the world about the properties we have for sale.
